Stop The Bleed® Training Course (In-Person)

This hands-on training course teaches you how to control life-threatening bleeding using the same principles used by first responders and trauma professionals.

Through our partnership with Tactical Bleed Control, First Line Medical is proud to offer internationally recognised STOP THE BLEED® training to civilians, firearm owners, security teams and community responders.

What You Will Learn

This course focuses on simple, proven techniques that anyone can use during a trauma emergency.

During the training you will learn how to:

• Recognise life-threatening bleeding
• Protect yourself and the casualty
• Apply direct pressure correctly
• Use wound packing techniques
• Apply a tourniquet effectively
• Take control of a situation until EMS arrives

Training is hands-on and scenario based to build real confidence in emergency situations.

Course Details

Format: In-person, hands-on training
Duration: ±4 hours depending on class size
Location: Johannesburg / Randburg area
Class Size: Limited seats to ensure practical training

All training equipment and materials are provided.

Wear comfortable clothing suitable for practical exercises.

Certification

Upon successful completion you will receive an internationally recognised STOP THE BLEED® certificate aligned with Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) principles.

This certificate features the logos of the U.S. Department of Defense and Combat Casualty Care Research Program, reflecting the origin of the program.

While the certificate does not expire, refresher training every 2 years is recommended to keep skills current.
